Introducing Action Items

Action Items tracks every commitment from your email and meetings, what you owe and what you're owed, so nothing slips.

Today we're launching Action Items: every commitment from your email and meetings, tracked for you, in both directions.
A good call ends with a handful of promises. You'll send the revised pricing. They'll check with their team. Someone will loop in legal. Then the next meeting starts, the inbox fills up, and a week later you're wondering whether that proposal ever went out.
Most follow-ups don't slip because people don't care. They slip because nobody wrote them down, and the ones other people owe you are the easiest to lose track of.
Every promise, captured automatically
Action Items reads the email and meetings already flowing through Multiplayer and pulls out the commitments made in them. You don't have to take notes or copy anything into a task app. When someone says "I'll send that over by Friday," it shows up.
Each item tells you:
Who owes what: You owe for the things you promised, They owe for the things others promised you.
Where it came from: a link straight back to the email thread or meeting notes, so you can see exactly what was said.
When it's due: the deadline if one was mentioned, and how long it's been open either way.

Action Items is for the promises made in conversation. Your own to-do list stays wherever you already keep it.
How you'll use it
See what's urgent first. Open items are sorted by urgency, so the promise due tomorrow sits above the one due next month. Items without a date don't get lost either: once one has been open for 14 days, it moves up the list.
Keep projects together. Group items by workstream to see everything open on a deal, a project or an account in one place, along with who's waiting on whom.
Track what others owe you. Filter to They owe to see every reply, document and decision you're waiting on, so you know exactly who to nudge.
Let it close itself. When Multiplayer sees a promise has been kept, like the deck you said you'd send going out, it marks the item done for you. You can also mark anything done yourself.
Pair it with Relationships. Every contact in Relationships shows what you owe them and what they owe you, so you're never walking into a call with a forgotten promise.
Why we built it
A great assistant's most valuable habit is simple: they remember what you said you'd do, and what other people said they'd do for you. Reliability builds trust, and most of it comes down to closing loops.
We wanted Multiplayer to carry that load for you without adding another task list to maintain. Action Items works from the conversations you're already having, and stays out of the way of the to-do system you already use.
