Connecting your Zoom account to Multiplayer
What connecting Zoom to Multiplayer allows you to do:
When you connect Zoom to your Multiplayer account, you unlock two capabilities:
Automatically add Zoom meeting links
Meetings scheduled through Multiplayer will include a Zoom link by default.Enable automatic notetaker entry
When authorized, the Multiplayer notetaker can join Zoom meetings automatically without waiting in the waiting room.
How to use the Zoom integration:
Calendar scheduling
If someone books a meeting using your Multiplayer scheduling link (e.g., https://ai.multiplayer.work/meet/username), the calendar event will automatically include a Zoom meeting link when Zoom is connected.
Notetaker behavior in meetings
If the Multiplayer notetaker has been authorized in your Zoom settings, it will:
Join meetings automatically
Bypass the waiting room
If Zoom is not connected — or authorization has not been granted — the notetaker will wait in the Zoom waiting room until admitted by the host.
How to connect Zoom
Go to your Integrations settings page:
https://ai.multiplayer.work/settings/integrationsClick Connect next to Zoom.
Follow the Zoom authorization steps.
How to disconnect Zoom
Go to your Integrations settings page:
https://ai.multiplayer.work/settings/integrationsClick Connected next to Zoom.
Follow the steps to disconnect.
What happens when you disconnect Zoom
When Zoom is disconnected:
Multiplayer will no longer add Zoom meeting links to scheduled events.
The Multiplayer notetaker will no longer bypass the Zoom waiting room.
The notetaker will need to be manually admitted by the host.
Multiplayer does not store meaningful data from this Zoom integration. Once disconnected, there is no additional Zoom data that needs to be removed.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your Zoom connection:
Disconnect Zoom.
